Crazily, given that he has over 30 releases under his belt, ‘Better Days’ is Estiva’s first vocal effort, and boy was it worth the wait. Captivating tones from Josie (lyrics by Jaren) are mirrored by trademark emotive soaring lines that are so powerful and picturesque they would carry beautifully on their own. I’d like to introduce ‘Zephyr’, one of the songs I wrote for the Conjure One album. It’s near and dear to me and I hum it to myself when I need to get in touch with my inner hero. It’s my own personal anthem. I hope that doesn’t sound self-centered.
